Questions & Answers

What should I wear?

Clothes, please. No special attire required.

The wedding will be outdoors on grass. Wearing heels may be a challenge, so we'd encourage wearing comfortable shoes that can handle less-than-perfectly-flat terrain.

Please plan for comfort. Billings averages around 80° on June 20th. (But it's Montana, so if you don't like the weather, wait 15 minutes.)

Can I bring kids?

Absolutely! Preferably your kids, but we won't be checking birth certificates.

We'll have fun activities for kids of all ages. (We'll also have activities for adults that identify as kids.)

Do you have a gift registry?

We do not have a gift registry. We're totally adulting and already have one (or two) of everything we need.

Most of all, we hope for your company at our wedding! If you would like to give a gift, you're welcome to contribute to our honeymoon via Venmo, or leave us a card at the wedding.

Will there be alcohol?

Yes. You can leave your flask at home.

We'll also have a variety of non-alcoholic beverages available for everyone that doesn't drink, the kids who aren't old enough to drink, and for those who have court orders not to imbibe.

Will there be food?

My god, we're not heathens. Of course there will be food.

We'll offer an array of charcuterie, barbecued meats, and other accompaniments. If you have dietary restrictions or are allergic to good food, please let us know before you experience anaphylaxis.

Will there be dancing?

Yes, but we're not planning to spring the cash for a fancy wedding DJ that plays all your favorite wedding tunes (e.g. "The Chicken Dance"), but if you have special skills, let us know (we may change our minds).

Where do I fly in to?

You're looking for the airport code BIL, which is the grand Billings Logan International Airport!

It's not actually international though, so don't plan on a direct flight from Abu Dhabi. (I think we just call it international to make ourselves feel important.)

Can I borrow your car while I visit?

Sorry, this is Montana and we only have our lone horse and buggy as the daily driver. But you can rent a car! If you act fast, there are good deals. As of today (February 10th) there are rentals starting at $23/day.

Can I stay with you?

Our barn is all full! Sorry! But there's the ye olde tavern available, or you can find some actual hotel and motel rooms starting at $67/night, as of February 10th. (It even includes a bathroom inside the room, if you can believe it!)

Besides your super-awesome wedding, is there anything else fun to do in Billings, Montana?

There are many fun things to do in Billings! We have a variety of dive bars, more casinos than churches, lots of golf courses, indoor axe throwing, and various other attractions.

Billings is also very close to the Beartooth Highway, which crests at 10,497 feet and called "the most beautiful drive in America"; and Yellowstone National Park, which is absolutely amazing and worth a visit if you've never been.

I have another question that's not listed here.

Impossible. We've thought of everything.

But if you absolutely insist that your question isn't answered here, please send us an email and we'll come up with a smart-ass reply.
